As you're moving into your College of Charleston housing, we've got resources for you to do this sustainably and to reduce your waste!
Cardboard Recycling - Fall 2023
For all students moving onto campus, we provide cardboard recycling corrals set up around campus for your to recycle your cardboard boxes! Be on the lookout for the orange corrals located at:
- Warren 1, 10, 20: Next to dumpster outside of the entrance to Warren 10
- Kelly House: Tilt cart located in the courtyard on the ground floor
- Berry: In front of the building, inside the gated courtyard used for bicycle parking
- McAlister: Across from the building entrance, on pathway by New Student Programs
- George Street: In courtyard outside of Caviar & Bananas, between trees
- Liberty: There will NOT be orange corrals at this location; look for blue taped off squares outside of the elevator on each floor
- Craig: In front of the Education Center building, next to Craig Hall
- Buist / Rutledge: Parking lot behind the building
- McConnell: In front of the building, near the bike racks
- College Lodge: Please bring your cardboard to one of these other locations!
Please make sure to FLATTEN all cardboard and remove all trash. Thank you!

Cougar Free Store Pop-up - Fall 2023
What: FREE gently-used items commonly used in residence halls! Items were originally gathered during Spring 2023 Mindful Move-out. Includes: bed risers, clothes hangers, trash cans, lamps, mirrors, and more.
Why: Encouraging reuse on campus!
When: August 18, 19, and 20, from 12-4pm.
Where: outside of Rita room 103 and inside Berry room 103.
