Interested in recycling in your residence hall?
Step 1: Learn what can and cannot be recycled.

Step 2: Check out a bin for your room!
The Office of Sustainability offers a 3-gallon recycling bin to check-out if you live in campus housing. Fill out the request form HERE to get a bin for your residence hall room. Bins are checked out for the academic year and must be returned to the Office of Sustainability before you move out.
Step 3: Learn where to take your recyclables.

Each residence hall is a bit different. Check them out below:
Historic Home Residents | Use the 95-gallon blue recycling cart provided by Charleston County. |
George Street Apartments, Berry Hall & Liberty Residents | Each floor has trash and recycling rooms for you to place your recyclables. Recycling goes into the rolling neon green carts. |
McConnell Hall Residents | Each floor has trash and recycling nooks for you to place your recyclables. Recycling goes into the rolling blue carts. |
Craig Hall & College Lodge Residents | Recycling and trash bins are located on each floor in rolling neon green carts. |
Kelly House | On the first floor of Kelly House near the picnic table is a small alcove with trash and recycling. Recycling goes into the rolling neon green carts. |
Warren Place 1, 10 & 20 | A dumpster is located behind Warren 10. There are neon green recycling roll carts located behind Warren 10 near the bike parking. |
McAlister Hall | The first floor has a neon green recycling roll cart to the left of the lobby in the courtyard. Upper floors have trash and recycling rooms. Recycling goes into the neon green carts. |
Rutledge Rivers | A recycling room is located on the first floor. |
Buist Rivers | Two neon green recycling roll carts are located in the first-floor laundry room. |
